One for my mom

My mother always wanted a big piece for her wall so I decided to give her one for her sixtieth birthday - well a promise for one since I started painting the piece right after her birthday. Then life happened. Poor painting got to lay half finished behind the door or on the top shelf for years - and I was always just about to finish. But you know… life.

I finally picked up the pencil, finished it and gave her on her 74th birthday - fourteen years later! She was very pleased and now it hangs in her living room.
